Graig Wen, Snowdonia National Park – Seasonal assistants

small camping/glamping site in stunning location on the coast of
Snowdonia National Park seeks Site Assistants to live on site for 2018.
Featured in national media as one of Britain’s Best Glamping Sites and
winner of North Wales Tourism Best Camping, Glamping Caravan Site
Award. Benefits include use of private kitchen/bathroom facilities and
car as well as direct access to the scenic cycle trail along the
Mawddach Estuary between seaside Barmouth and historic Dolgellau.
We’re
looking for two friendly, outgoing and conscientious people to join our
small team from March – October. You will be customer focussed, warmly
welcoming guests to our yurts, tent and van pitches, 4 holiday cottages
and B & B and providing efficient and exceptional service to help
them have a great holiday. You will share our commitment to high
standards of service, cleanliness and work with the team on cleaning and
maintenance duties for the camp site and yurts. At least one of you
will have practical skills and the ability to resolve basic maintenance
issues. You must both have confidence using computers and phone as you
will share office duties taking bookings and dealing with
enquiries/sales in our small reception shop. Full training will be
given.
You
must have a cheerful, can do attitude, GSOH, presentable appearance and
be dog friendly. You both need a reasonable level of fitness to walk
and drive 4 x 4 around our hilly site as the role can be physically
demanding, moving firewood etc. Your own caravan / motorhome to live in
on site is preferred.
This
is a great opportunity for an active couple who want to work in a
varied role and enjoy the many attractions and activities offered in
this beautiful area. Also for people serious about gaining experience
of the industry and learning about a glamp site/sustainable tourism
business. Plenty of time off with great opportunities for walking,
cycling, kayaking etc

hours/ week minimum - more available if required in peak season. Two
days off / week including at least one together. Bank holidays,
weekends and some evening work required.
Payment
National
Minimum wage. Lots of benefits including free pitch, electric hook
up/use of wifi and laundry facilities, use of staff kitchen, private
bathroom with shower, communal lounge and car. Plus staff discount in
shop and for visiting friends/family accommodation.
